HAILEY, Idaho (TheBlaze/AP) — The tearful mother of the only known U.S. prisoner of war said Saturday she’s feeling “very optimistic” about his eventual release after his Taliban captors offered last week to exchange him for prisoners at Guantanamo Bay.
